So Much Happening at The Handmade Expo

Hi everyone,
There has been so much happening in The Handmade Expo Market land over the last few months with our expansion to Kingaroy, Morayfield and Redlands as well as our existing Ipswich and Foresthill venues.  We have another up our sleeve for early in 2013 also so keep up to date on our facebook page.

So this weekend is the last market weekend for 2012 and we have three fabulous Christmas markets for your handmade shopping pleasure.
Saturday is in Ipswich and we'll have 140 stalls, even bigger than November and thats probably due to the fact that we were washed out with that nasty storm by about 11.30 last month.
We have a couple of extras this month too.

Brett from The Firemens Calender with be with us selling 2013 calenders to raise money for the Childrens Burn Unit, and a mighty fine job they do too.  He will be available to sign the calender for you after purchase and probably good for a photo too !

We have a lady who will be Carolling around the whole venue from 9.30 - 12.30.
We love Christmas Carols dont you?

Also the Pioneer Steam Train will be running as they do each month providing a lovely nostalgic trip down memory lane for the older people who actually remember steam train travel,  but also a lovely experience for the rest of the community.  The train is run soley by volunteers who get up to start shoveling coal for that beast at 3am each market day,
They are so passionate about their train its a beautiful thing to see that passion for something !

Sunday sees the second market for Kingaroy from 9-2 in the Town Hall and new forecourt.  Its a great venue and was really well supported by all the Kinga locals.  So if you have family or friends living in Kingaroy,  please make them aware of this great new event.  This month they have a local musician busking away, so that will be fun.

Sunday also we have our Debut market being held in Redlands at the PCYC, Mt Cotton Rd.
Its a great venue and we love supporting the PCYC too, they are such community minded people, so its great to be able to hire their venue to support them.
This market is also from 9-2,  lots of new and different stallholders to Ipswich as well as some of our favourite regulars.   Lots of refreshments also.
The Redlands Mayor will be officiating at the Grand Opening at 9am.

We have created a photo album on Facebook with some of the goodies available this weekend.
We hope you will join us in celebrating HANDMADE this Christmas.
