Toowoomba's New Venue!

Toowoomba's New Venue!

October saw The Handmade Expo & Vintage Market move to it's new home at Harristown State High School's Auditorium. The weather was a bit gloomy but the people came out in droves to check out all the fantastic handmade, handbaked, homegrown and vintage items on offer from around the Toowoomba region.

Customers were able to browse and shop from a huge variety of jewellery, childrens clothing, woodwork, candles, home decor, ladies clothing, vintage items, crocheted items, toys, baby accessories, hair accessories, plants, the list goes on! Plus they were able to grab themselves a bite to eat and a steaming hot cup of coffee.

Not only does Toowoomba have a new home but it also has a brand new market coordinator who is doing a fantastic job in bringing fresh, new and exciting stallholders to the market. Andrew van der Beek has been a long time supporter of the market as his wife Kylie van der Beek is owner and creator of Addicted to Buttons (https://www.facebook.com/AddictedtoButtons/) who has been attending The Handmade Expo for the past 6 years.

October was the last market for the year in Toowoomba but 2017 will see the market increase to 4 markets a year so there will be many more opportunities to come along and grab yourself some fantastic handmade items.

You can find all the dates for 2017 on the website at www.thehandmadeexpo.com.au and if you're interested in becoming a stallholder in the new year we'd love to hear from you. The application form can also be found on the website.

If you're still itching to attend one of our markets we still have 2 more markets for the year at our Ipswich location at the Ipswich Turf Club on November 19th and December 17th from 8am-1pm plus one more for the year at Forest Hill School of Arts Hall on November 26th from 8am-1pm.
