NEW HERVEY BAY STALLHOLDER PROFILE FOR RONNY LEE CREATIONS

Stallholder Profile for Ronny Lee Creations

Your Name: Veronica Farne

Your business name and facebook/website name and link: Ronny Lee Creations,  https://www.facebook.com/Ronny-Lee-Creations-755970871225569/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel

The suburb/town you live in now: I live in Urangan

What is it that you make and what skills do you use?: I make polymer beads, jewellery, wearable art, along with wire sculpture jewellery and millinery. I am also a potter, but do not have a kiln set up here yet.

What inspired you to start your business?: My jewellery and millinery business evolved because I have not been able to use a kiln where I have been living over the last 5 years. Back in the 70's, I dabbled in polymer clay, but no-one really knew how far you could take this medium back then so I moved onto pottery for a couple of decades.

How long have you been creating?: I have been creating jewellery on and off since the 70's

Is it a full time/part time hobby or business?: My business is now full time. We only moved to Hervey Bay in November, so I have been setting up house and my gallery since then.

Where do you sell your creations?: On my Facebook page, soon to be The Handmade Expo and upcoming local market events.

What makes you so special or different?: What makes my work different is that I specialise in large focal beads made from polymer clay. I also enjoy doing floral wearable art.

What is the most rewarding part of what you do?: The most rewarding part of what I do is seeing the final outcome - it is never what I originally planned! Not very good at planning, so I just let it take me where it wants to go!

What is your favourite product to make?: I am addicted to making beads, which are done with various techniques and are all handmade and original - no two beads are ever the same.

Do you teach classes or workshops?:At the moment I do not do workshops, as I have been busy getting set up and ready to open my gallery on the Easter weekend.
